Have you ever really wondered what it would be like to have too much money? Really wondered? Not just thought ‘oh that would be lovely’ and then changed the subject and started thinking about something else. But actually really began to wonder what it would be like to have too much money.
What comes up for you? Is it exciting? Is it scary? Uncomfortable? What would it be like to have so much money, that everyone you knew judged you as having too much money? How many of us have tried to avoid having other people judge us, our choices and our lives by having less money or stopping ourselves from creating more with ease?
What would it be like to have so much ease and peace with money that you could have way more than you currently have, and never have a point of view of how much money you do (or don’t) have, ever again?
True wealth is being willing to have what you would like in your life whether you have money or not. It’s knowing you can create whatever you would like to create, whether you have money or not.
It’s not about the necessity of the things you think you have to have, or wanting something you think you can’t have. That is a poverty mentality. It’s where you decided you lack, rather than knowing you can create anything. So much of what we value is based on our decision that we can’t have it.
If you knew that you could create, with ease, everything you desire, regardless of how much money you had right now, what would you really choose?
The energy of ‘having too much money’ is not really not about the amount of money you have, it’s about being willing to know that you can have, be, do, create anything. And it’s the willingness to do whatever it takes to have those things.
What if having too much money was really just your willingness to have whatever you would like to have in your life, and never have money as the limitation or reason not to have it?
We recently aired an episode of Crème de la Crème where Ricky Williams, Lisen Bengtsson, Susanna Mittermaier and Anne Maxwell had a great conversation about Having Too Much Money. Click here to listen to the replay!
